Our Story
Honest Town Eats, founded by Dan Attella, Jes Labrecque, and Chef Michael Arrastia in 2022, represents more than just a new restaurant in an old town. It symbolizes hope and a commitment to the community. By opening here, we invest in the local people and their potential. Our restaurant is not just about great food; it's also a welcoming space for the community to connect, share stories, and create memories. We believe food has the power to unite and uplift, and we aim to inspire others to appreciate and invest in their own communities.
Join us at Honest Town Eats, where every meal is a tribute to the past, a celebration of the present, and an invitation to create new memories together. Let’s continue to share the flavors that connect us and celebrate the rich history we are proud to be part of.
Why Honest Town?
The first European settlers arrived in Southbridge in the early 18th century, and the area was incorporated as the town of "Honest Town" in 1816. In 1820, the town's name was changed to Southbridge, as it was located south of the town of Sturbridge.
